We have had such great luck on board the Carib Dancer with great crews and great diving, that we are going back AGAIN!!
But, this time, we are going to do a trip that explores the West End of the Bahamas and makes a special trip to Tiger Beach! Tiger Beach? Yep – it gets its name because both Caribbean Reef Sharks and Tiger Sharks are known to frequent this area.
When it comes to sheer numbers of the largest predatory sharks found in the tropics, no location is better than Tiger Beach! At Tiger Beach it's possible to see every large coastal predatory shark found in the tropics in a single dive, and lots of them! The dive site is home to Tiger, Lemon, Great Hammerhead, Bull, Reef, and Nurse sharks. World famous Tiger Beach Bahmas is unlike any other dive site and is the best opportunity you will have to photograph these large predators as they circle around you. Shallower depths mean longer dives and more of them!
The West End of the Bahamas is rarely visited and is home to many creatures – both large (sharks and dolphins) and small (grouper, snapper and other assorted reef fish). At least one afternoon is dedicated to diving Tiger Beach where we will try to attract sharks using a “scent triangle” filled with bait. All shark interactions are natural, passive and observational in style. The Dancer Fleet does not actively feed sharks or chum the waters.
We know you'll enjoy this adventure to the Bahamas and hope you will jump at this opportunity to dive the West End of the Bahamas and possibly see Tiger Sharks!
